Lab Meeting Presentations
- Jin group meeting is scheduled on Tuesday 4:30-6 PM. Two people present, first research and then journal paper. Research presentation should last about 1-hour. Given the following schedule, you will be presenting once every three months. If you have a less than 1-hour long story out of 3-month hard work, perhaps something is wrong here.
- The choice of journal papers should be made based on the relevance of their hypothesis, approaches (methods, animal models, etc), or questions to your project. In other words, these are the papers that will be cited in your current or next paper. Presenters do not have to go over every single table or figures but rather present them to convey the main message to the group. Experimental details are often more important as these can be adopted to our studies. You are welcome to present more than one paper as long as they can be presented within 45-minutes.
- One person after completion of each cycle of research/journal club presentations will be selected by poll for the best presenter. The prize for the current cycle winner will be iPad2!!!
